Moore ES, Cypress Bible Church establish Adopt-a-School partnership

Sept. 10, 2024—Representatives for Cypress Bible Church visited the staff at Moore Elementary School on Sept. 5 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize resources of the community to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

José Nevarez, Cypress Bible Church representative, expressed excitement to support the Moore community.

 “We at Cypress Bible Church are honored and excited to join Moore Elementary in helping and encouraging the students, teachers and administrators,” Nevarez said. “We hope this relationship will continue to grow in the coming years.”

Rebecca Hignight, Moore principal, expressed her appreciation to Cypress Bible Church for their continued commitment to support the campus.

“It’s truly an honor to partner with Cypress Bible Church,” Hignight said. “This church community has been dedicated to Moore Elementary staff and students long before this adoption. The support we have received and will continue to receive will enrich our students, staff and families’ lives. We’re humbled, grateful and blessed that Cypress Bible Church will continue to serve and we are confident that this partnership will be life- changing for many. The Moore community looks forward to working together! It’s a great day to be a Moore Armadillo!”
