As the world of technology continues to grow, we are not opposed to allowing our Moore Armadillos to bring their devices to school; however, we will continue to follow the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Code of Conduct, which reads:
"Students may not possess items at school that school personnel deem to be a distraction to the general learning environment or the student's own learning environment. Belongings that might be lost or stolen, such as, but not limited to, cell phones, headphones, cameras, games, iPods, iPads, laptops, etc. are the responsibility of the student. District personnel will not assume responsibility for damaged, lost, or stolen items."
Students will only be allowed to use their electronic device for instructional purposes, not for playing personal games, texting, browsing the internet, utilizing personal apps and social media, etc. Students who are not abiding by this rule will lose their privileges and will not be allowed to bring the device back to school.
Please click on the form below, fill out and sign. Then email the permission slip to your child's homeroom teacher. The teacher must have this signed form on file before allowing your child to use their device in the classroom.
